DOS EQUIS SKI BUM RACE SERIES REGISTRATION PARTY

Join a team of skiers, snowboarders, and telemark skiers in a race down Highline in pursuit of Ski Bum Glory. Each competition is follwed by an after party. The race and after party are open to registered competitors only – thanks for your understanding.

Location: Highline Trail – K1, Killington Restort

The East Coast’s leading rail jam is back!

Competitors will drop in on an exclusive, custom built rail venue in an attempt to snag a piece of the $25,000 cash purse. Those who have what it takes to impress the judges will walk away with cold hard cash and ultimate bragging rights for the season. Come watch the action unfold as top athletes battle it out under the lights.

Registration: Due to the growth and nature of this event, this seasons competition is primarily invite only. A free lottery will open on November 5, 2014 for athletes that wish to have a chance at securing unclaimed spots. Lottery details coming soon.

Event registration is $75 for men and $50 for women. Registration will include admittance into the competition, a Rails 2 Riches jersey, access to the Athlete Lounge and Rails 2 Riches lunch.

$35 discounted lift tickets will be available for competitors ONLY to purchase at check-in. Competitors are NOT required to have a season pass/lift ticket in order to compete. All participants of Rails 2 Riches must fill out an Express Assumption of Risk form. If you are under 18, you will need a parent/guardian to sign your form.

January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month nationwide, and we know that there is no better place to experience the thrill of learning to ski or ride than in its original state. Here in Vermont, we have some of the best instructors in the world, and plenty of terrain for those starting out. Learn to ski and ride month isn’t only for those who have never been on snow before. You too can learn a new snow sport through Learn to Ski and Snowboard month. Ski Vermont is once again offering a $29 package for beginners including a beginner area lift ticket, lesson and rental in January 2014.

What’s the Deal?

In the spirit of spreading the love of winter to new enthusiasts, the majority of our member resorts will be offering $29 beginner lesson during the month of January, excluding Holiday periods. The beginner package includes equipment rental as well as a lesson with a professional instructor (lesson duration varies by resort) and access to the beginner terrain. Due to the deeply discounted price, we will only offer one beginner package per person.
