Please make sure to choose a Pet-Friendly Room when booking. Not all rooms are Pet-Friendly. This is to allow for guests who may have allergies or who are concerned about staying in pet-friendly rooms.
We welcome well-trained dogs and their responsible owners in certain designated units. There is an additional charge of $20.00 per night per dog (with the exception of registered service animals with appropriate papers, for which there is no additional fee) with a maximum of two dogs per unit. Rooms that require special cleaning due to animal stains, or rooms where guests have brought animals to stay without first notifying Sleep Woodstock, will be assessed an additional $175 cleaning fee.
All canine guests must have up-to-date vaccinations, be flea- and tick-free and of a gentle nature. Dogs may not be left alone in the room unless crated nor are they allowed on beds and furniture, and they must be leashed and under control of their owners at all times while on our property. We reserve the right to ask doggie parents to leave the motel without refund in the event another guest complains about barking or other issues. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets on motel property and in the neighborhood. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sleep Woodstock, its owners and operators from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet, including property damage and/or personal injury.

Additional Guests/Additional Beds
Rates are based upon double occupancy. Additional guests in a room will be charged an additional fee per person per night.
Up to 2 children (under the age of 12) are at no additional cost if using existing beds. There will be an additional charge per night for each child over the limit of two. If a roll-away bed is requested (there is a limited quantity), please call ahead for availability and additional cost.
Vermont’s “Smoking in Public Places Law” prohibits the possession of lighted tobacco products in enclosed indoor "places of public access", including hotels and motels.
All of our guest rooms are Non-Smoking. This includes tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and any other lighted substance. Any guests that are found to have been smoking in the motel (including smoking briefly before walking outside) will be charged a cleaning fee of $250. Receptacles are provided outside the rooms for guests who wish to smoke. (Kindly note that these may not be emptied into interior trash cans.). Please be respectful of non-smoking guests.

Although we take commercially reasonable care to protect Your Information, no transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under our control to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. We therefore cannot insure the security of Your Information, and any transmission is done at your own risk. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall we be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages that result from the use of Your Information.
We may be required to disclose Your Information to law enforcement agencies or pursuant to a court order, or to comply with any applicable law, regulation, rule or ordinance.
One space per room is allotted per stay. Guests must park in designated parking spaces. Parking is at your own risk, and Sleep Woodstock Motel is not responsible for any damage or theft to your vehicle or the contents thereof.
Full payment is required for each room at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation.

Security Deposit for Walk-In Guests: Guests checking in who are not paying via Credit or Debit Card may be required to include a $50 Security Deposit, refundable at Check-Out after a room inspection.
Photo ID: Required at discretion of Management.
Taxes: The State of Vermont and the Town of Woodstock together require collection of a “Meals and Rooms Tax”, which will be added to the room rates indicated at the time of your stay.
We are a small motel, and cancellations significantly impact our business. If you need to cancel a reservation, please let us know as early as possible.
Cancellations made fourteen (14) days prior to your scheduled arrival date
While payments are normally fully refunded for cancellations fourteen or more days prior to the scheduled arrival date, in the case of multiple room reservations, we reserve the right to impose a 5% administrative charge to cover credit card fees.
Cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days prior your scheduled arrival date
We reserve the right to retain full payment. If you do not show up, arrive after the reserved date, or check out before the final date of your reservation, you are responsible for the full amount of your reserved stay. If we are able to rebook the room for the full period of your intended stay or any part, we will refund the full or prorated amount to you less a 5% administrative charge to cover credit card fees.
Cancellations made 48 hours or less prior to your scheduled arrival date
No refunds will be given for cancellations less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Foliage Season & Dartmouth Graduation
The refundable cancellation period for Foliage Season (September 15th–November 7th) and Dartmouth Graduation (usually the first or second week of June) is 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival. If we are able to rebook the room for the full period of your intended stay or any part, we will refund the full or prorated amount to you less a 5% administrative charge to cover credit card fees.
Cancellations must be requested in writing and are not deemed valid unless we reply in writing to confirm.
Many people have asked us how staff gratuities should be handled. We believe that service is a profession, and that tips for value-added services are completely at the guest’s discretion. Tips are not included in the room rates at Sleep Woodstock Motel. Any tip you choose to offer your housekeeper will be graciously received and warmly appreciated.
For guests who are wondering how much to tip, here's what Emily Post says: "$2-$5 per day, left daily with a note marked “Housekeeping – Thank you”.
Check-In Hours: 3 PM to 9 PM. Please alert us if you would like to check in later than 9 PM or earlier than 3 PM. We will do our best to accommodate early check-in requests if rooms are available.
Check-Out Time: 11 AM, so that we can prepare rooms for our next guests.
Early or late check-out may require an additional fee.
Office Hours: 8 AM to 9 PM. Please ring office doorbell or dial 802-332-6336 before or after that time to reach Management.
Quiet Hours: 11 PM to 8 AM
Visitors: Visitors are welcome, but may not be on the property during Quiet Hours.
Accommodations will be refused to or revoked from any person who acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner while on motel property, causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance, destroys or threatens to destroy motel property, or refuses to or is unable to pay for the accommodations.
Items in rooms are inventoried during every check-out. Any missing or damaged items will be charged to the guest. By accepting our terms and conditions, you expressly authorize us to charge your credit card for the cost of all guest room items that are found to be missing or damaged at check-out.
Lost/Damaged Keys: $75 Fee per key
By accepting our terms and conditions, you expressly authorize us to charge your credit card for the cost of lost/damaged keys.
Management reserves the right to enter any room at reasonable hours for emergency maintenance. We ask guests not to try fixing any maintenance issues themselves, but to alert Management of any problem immediately.
Each of our guest rooms has a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Guests may not use their own electrical devices such as cooking devices, electric heaters, etc. within the motel or on our grounds.
